Our eggs are ungraded which means they vary in size and color. Our flock is composed of a variety of different breeds which give us different sizes and colors. Our eggs are unwashed. This means that the eggs have a natural protective coating (the bloom or cuticle) that seals pores, keeping bacteria out and allowing them to be stored safely on the counter for weeks. Washed eggs need to be consumed right away or refrigerated immediately.
